The International Society of Hospitality Purchasers (ISHP) is a group of hospitality professionals who are dedicated to ethical procurement principles and fiduciary responsibility. It is our intent to build a common platform of understanding that will improve relationships between the specifier, interior designer, architect, owner, purchaser and the manufacturer / supplier; while continually upholding the integrity and ethics of the ISHP.
Since the ISHP is intended for the furthering of professionalism within the purchasing industry; dues paying membership is limited to “practicing hospitality procurement professionals”.
The annual ISHP meeting is held during the BDNY Show in New York City each year. This meeting is open to all ISHP members.
HD Expo - Las Vegas -- ISHP has hosted such significant events as panel discussions on pertinent industry topics, Town Hall meetings and “just for fun” presentations involving numerous purchasing professionals.
BDNY – New York, NY -- ISHP organizes a fund raiser through the generous support of manufactures and vendors. This evening event is a great business platform for vendors and specifiers while contributing to the organization AHLA's No Room for Trafficking. It underscores ISHP and the many vendors ongoing process of giving back to the communities in which we live and work .
Full membership candidacy fee is $500.00 (first year); annual full membership thereafter is $150.00. Associates in your organization may be added for a $50.00 annual membership fee per person.
